BCICA Welcomes New QAC Member: Kootenay Comfort Insulation, Ltd.
Kootenay Comfort Insulation Ltd. is the BCICA’s newest QAC member, and its team is looking forward to furthering its mission under the program: to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable insulation solutions that protect assets, optimize energy efficiency, and support industrial growth.
“We are committed to exceeding client expectations through precision, reliability, and continuous improvement, building long-term partnerships while contributing to a safer and greener future,” says Jamie Constantin, CEO and owner.
Kootenay Comfort Insulation was founded and incorporated in 2025 to serve clients across British Columbia with industrial and commercial insulation, cladding, asbestos abatement, and scaffolding services.
Its team of ten brings a strong safety focus, experienced workmanship, and a commitment to efficiency and compliance on every project.
Constantin has ten years’ experience in the industry, starting in scaffolding. “Our team collectively brings 10–20+ years of experience across insulation, cladding, scaffolding, blasting, painting, and coating,” she says. “What I enjoy most about the industry is the hands-on nature of the work, the problem-solving involved in each project, and the opportunity to work with a skilled team to deliver high-quality results in challenging environments.”
Kootenay Comfort joined the BCICA’s QAC program because the company is committed to full compliance and to delivering the highest quality standards in its work. “Being part of the program helps ensure we stay aligned with industry best practices and reinforces trust with our clients,” Constantin says. “It supports our business by strengthening our credibility, improving quality control, and demonstrating our commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement.”
Constantin supports the BCICA increasing its outreach and education across all trades about the importance of BCICA standards. “Many in the industry are still unaware of the requirements and the value of the program, so increasing awareness would benefit both contractors and clients alike,” she says. “We believe in doing the job right the first time, maintaining a strong commitment to safety, and taking pride in our workmanship. Reliability, accountability, and quality are at the core of everything we do—both on the job and how we treat our clients and team.”
