The British Columbia Insulation Contractors Association’s (BCICA) serves its members and the construction industry through the development of standards and procedures, member training, and professional networking. 

Its mission is to provide its members with the most current industry information, create and maintain a standard of work that provides the best value for customers, and provide information and installation standards to specifiers and end users.

The BCICA has operated continuously since 1958. Created to develop and distribute mechanical insulation standards, it since grown to represent all elements of the insulation industry—union contractors, open shop contractors, distributors and fabricators, and manufacturers.

Today, the mechanical insulation industry is a rapidly evolving sector for which saving energy for the future and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions are no longer just slogans. Climate change is a reality, and work completed by BCICA contractors is making a difference in creating a better planet for all.
