Thank you for attending the 2025 BCICA Christmas Party
The BCICA Christmas Party on November 15 was a sold-out event at the Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre. This year, 123 members and their guests attended, enjoying great food, lively entertainment, enticing door prizes, and well-earned time together in a relaxed atmosphere.
Some of these members came to the party from the BCICA’s annual general meeting, where Arturs Gavrilovs was elected the association's new president. Congratulations and welcome, Arturs! And thank you Chris Ceraldi for your years of service as president.
At the party, a delicious buffet dinner—Christmas cooking with all the trimmings—brought everyone together before presentations, entertainment, and door prizes.
The event was MC’ed by Bradley Budden, executive director of the BCICA, who welcomed members and guests to the event. BCICA president Chris Ceraldi addressed the crowd and shared important association milestones and positive forecasting for the future. Special guest Tristam Bertram, director of industry affairs for the Thermal Insulation Association of Canada (TIAC) spoke about the association’s activities and training initiatives.
New to the party was magician John Ha, who put on an exciting and perplexing–and sometimes hilarious—magic show for guests’ enjoyment. If you saw his show and thought it was great, leave John a Google review here! Want to book him for your event? Check out his website here.
For the BCICA’s final act, the team drew for several generously donated door prizes, which included Canucks tickets, baskets of wine, a crockpot and roomba, and several others. Congratulations to the Rock, Paper, Scissors champions who fought valiantly for those big prizes.
Thank you to all who attended and made this event the largest and most successful ever. Click here to see photos from the event and we look forward to seeing you next year!
