Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year from the BCICA

It is hard to believe the year is almost over. Time never stops, and the older we get the quicker it goes.

2025 was a very strong year for the BCICA. All our key performance indicators were very strong, and the association has never been in a better position. This is a direct result of the hard work from the Board of Directors, Technical Committee, and every member within the BCICA.

2026 is about to start, so what is the plan for the association in 2026? The BCICA is committed to working hard for you. Our society’s purpose is to encourage, sustain, and promote the mechanical insulation industry, the maintenance of good standards, and public confidence.

The BCICA will continue to encourage and provide mechanical insulation information for members, developers, architects, engineers, and any other party to improve the industry.

If you would like to become involved with the Technical Committee or have questions or concerns about technical issues, please contact the BCICA. The technical aspect of this industry is muddy at times; however, that does not mean BCICA members are exempt from providing the highest quality of work—in fact, it should be the standard.

The BCICA is and will continue to be your neutral voice within the industry, and the more we work together, the more respect for our trade and association within the industry grows.

In the new year, the BCICA will be having social events throughout the calendar year, beginning with the first Insulators contractors meeting in early January. Watch the website and your email for the date and registration info. Social events are very important to the association’s growth. The more we communicate and discuss ideas, the more we can focus on improving our industry. If you would like to become involved with social events or have social event ideas, please contact the BCICA.

And finally, one of the great things about the holiday season is that it allows some time to

relax, recharge, and plan for the future. Thank you for a great 2025. The BCICA wishes everyone a wonderful holiday season and best wishes for 2026.
